St Peters Terrace offered the opportunity to revitalise and extend a tired Victorian terraced house with rooms over 4 floors including a lower ground and loft.
Light to the lower ground floor was a significant challenge due to the sunken garden and close neighbours to the rear. As well as extending at ground floor we looked to extend and improve the existing loft bedroom to create a light open master bedroom with ensuite set into the eaves.
Wide folding frameless-glass doors at ground bring in plenty of natural light. A redesigned layout at lower ground floor level offers a large kitchen for entertaining whilst retaining a separate lodger’s bedroom accessed from a separate front door.
The master bedroom really makes the most of the southerly aspect and a combination of subtle more muted colours offset by brighter Moroccan influenced tiles within the En-Suite.
Rooms within the rear addition took advantage of the fantastic sash windows to create an exciting office with splashes of colour and more classically influenced bathroom. In the loft we added multiple velux rooflights and a frameless glazed door system to the rear to create a light filled space.
